Apparently none of the descriptions in here are true anymore, except that sometimes I still worry about myself. In the past two years, I have tried to fly a kite.

an apology

I recieved a rather abrupt im today from someone who shall remain nameless telling me to update my blog, so here we go. I suppose I should apologize for not updating in a while, and perhaps clarify what has happened over the past few weeks.

After a month of "vacation" we started school again. And oh my lord, did we start classes. In the first week we were back, we covered what was originally supposed to be two and a half weeks worth of material. Then, the following Monday, we were tested on it. Not only were we tested on the insane amount of information they gave us in that one week we were back, we were also tested on everything we did in New Orleans before the hurricane. It was absolutely ridiculous. I learned all of histo in literally a day, thanks entirely to Celeste. I passed everything, though, so that was good. P = MD is my new philosophy on life.

So yeah, I've been insanely busy with school. The other reason that I haven't updated is that my internet connection in my apartment is sketchy at best. I can steal the neighbors wireless sometimes (like now) but other times it won't connect or let me online. Its super annoying, but paying $40 a month to have Road Runner installed is a bit much, too.

Hmm, DH this season has been somewhat inferior to last season. The Caleb in the basement storyline is quasi interesting, but overall seems a bit over the top. I continue to be a huge fan of both Bree and Lynette. I know that the big premise for this season was that each of the women are beginning a new phase of their lives (Susan in a relationship, Lynette as a working mom, Bree as a single woman, Gabby as a mother), but I think that Lynette is the only one who has really been shown in any depth. Everyone else seems pretty superficial.

Oh, and we found out last week that the Tulane Medical Center isn't reopening in New Orleans until February at the earliest, so we can't go back to New Orleans next semester. Yes, I will be living in Houston until next June. Oh, and our landlord signed a contract to sell our apartment in January (because she thought we were moving out in the middle of December) about two days before we got the email saying we were staying. Not only will I have to live in Houston for 9 months, I'll have to live in multiple apartments in Houston. Fucking fabulous.
