Apparently none of the descriptions in here are true anymore, except that sometimes I still worry about myself. In the past two years, I have tried to fly a kite.

Studying Blows

Holy shit, I better like the behavioral science block next semester. As it is right now, I'm not liking neoplasms, pulmonary, ID, or cardio, but its okay because I just keep telling myself that I'm going to be a psychiatrist. If I get to behavioral science and I don't like it/ suck at it, I will be royally screwed.

Degrassi Disappointment

So I just watched this week's episode of Degrassi, Eyes Without a Face, Part 2, and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. It was an internet stalker episode. Now, we are in season 6 of Degrassi. They're now college freshmen/ high school seniors. When the show started, they were in 7th and 8th grade. As the show has gone on, and the kids have gotten older, the storylines have gotten progressively more dramatic and intense. That is why I was incredibly disappointed to see that Eyes Without a Face was essentially the exact same episode as Mother and Child Reunion - the fucking series premiere, featuring 13 year-old Emma. Good lord. So disappointing.

On the other hand, I continue to enjoy watching old school Degrassi, which the-N has graciously begun to show on weekend late night. Thank God for DVR.

Oh Colbert...

On Republican successes this year...

"With only a month left in the 2006 hurricane season, there have been exactly zero incidents of people in the Gulf Coast huddled together in some post-apocolyptic-sports-thunderdome."

Not Sleeping

fucking sucks. as do mosquitos. and mast cells. and histamine. arg.

late night revelation - on my so-called-life (circa 1995) patti realizes that graham is miserable working at his job, and encourages him to go out and follow his dream, which turns out to be opening a restaurant. on dh, lynette realizes that tom is unhappy at his job, and encourages him to go out and follow his dream, which appears to be opening a pizza place.

coincidence?
