The-N, finally

I hate Cox. I finally gave in and called them to figure out why I'm not getting half the channels I'm supposed to get. It was actually not as painful as I expected. I think the whole thing took less than an hour, which for a phone call to Cox, is pretty good. Anyway, now I have The-N, and its great. I can't sleep, and My-So-Called-Life is on, and its a fabulous episode, and I like it.

Inflammation

Apparently this is supposed to be one of the easier blocks of second year. I am so fucked. Holy shit, I'm fucked. There is no way to learn all of this information. I can't even fathom what the boards are going to be like.

On a quasi fun note, a certain friend with a hyphenated last name sent me this interesting fact sheet. I am so glad I don't want to do derm or plastics. The average board score for ob/gyn is 212 (not an insignificant number in any way) and there are only .7 applicants for every available position. Psych is 210 and .66. Maybe there is a chance afterall...

One week in

Good lord, my brain hurts.

This is the year where you can make mistakes and no one dies.

This is what our clinical diagnosis professor said to us during our first class. He was then quick to point out that in a year from now this will no longer be true. No pressure or anything though.

Who will be kicked off?

I'm super excited for tomorrow's episode of Project Runway. Oh the drama. These are my predictions:

Reasons:
Well its pretty obvious that whoever is getting kicked off broke some sort of rule. My guess is that the culprit either sabotaged someone else's project or did something like snuck back into the studio after they were supposed to stop or used their own money to buy supplies.

Culprits:
I'm guessing Angela, Jeffrey or Keith. Jeffrey and Keith seem to not really have much respect for the rules in general, and Angela just seems scared shitless. She's got that backed-into-a-corner fight-for-survival thing going. I think she's feeling way out of her league and being in the bottom two for the past two challenges, she knows her time to go is coming. I could also see it being Vincent, but I think that would just be because he's stoned and out of it all the time.

I obviously hope that Keith is the one to go.
